Thanks! Mom LOVES reading your comments!

Gravatar Your Glittens are really beautiful. I like the colors you have chosen for them. I have only made a couple pair in my life, and that was when I was young and didn't know that they might have been labeled "piquant" or "tangy." So I did them anyway.

Gravatar The glittens are really coming along! I know the recipient will really enjoy them on cold winter days!

Gravatar Oh my gosh, these are so cool. I would love to know how to do it!
Sofee's picture is just adorable!

Gravatar Your glittens are beautiful. Thanks for sharing!

Gravatar WOW! That is awesome. I just love the way you made it all make sence to me...someday when you've written it all down would you mail me your notes. I think you make the prettiest gloves I've ever seen.
and your photo's were great.
Thanks for sharing it.

Gravatar Kathy, your glittens are wonderful! I'm just SO impressed!

Gravatar Wow! I am speechless... They are great!!! You're amazing!

Gravatar I have bookmarked this page and will come back when I make mine - do you think you could just make the cover and not have glove beginnings inside? So it could be a mitten that you could just flip off the top if you need your fingers? Maybe knit a few ribbing rows so air won't get in when they are covered? or pick up like you do for the mini glove, but don't make fingers at all? I'm not explaining myself real well - I guess I just need to experiment - but THANK YOU!

Gravatar I love your glittens and would like to knit some for myself. Do you have any idea where I can buy a pattern? Or are you willing to write a pattern to sell? I enjoy reading your blog, you have lots of good ideas.

Gravatar Those are lovely! I can see why everyone wants some.

Thanks for sharing your technique.

Gravatar Brilliant, as usual! (And as if the glitten-ing alone wasn't enough, you do the gorgeous colorwork besides, sigh.) You really should publish your pattern somewhere, Kathy - it is so unique and it seems like one of those items from the past that could easily fade away. Amazing how very practical a concept it still is!

Gravatar I'm going to send a link of this post to a friend of mine who is interested in 'glittens'! Thanks for posting the instructions, Kathy!

Gravatar I would love some more details on how to make these. I make fingerless gloves but I think that my family would like these more.

Gravatar I love the mittens. I am always looking for patterns for hats, mittens, and scarves. I like to give these to school children who have nothing to keep them warm.

I have been attempting to knit Glittens for some time but without success.
I think that now, with your wonderful help, I will be a great Glitten knitter.

I commend you for the generous sharing of your talents.

Gravatar I love them!! What a creative person you are...thank you for sharing. Carol

Gravatar One of my nieces asked for those a couple of Christmases ago (her mom having given DH and me a couple of store-bought pairs) and I thought about how to make them, but not enough. Now I know. Brilliant!

Gravatar great pattern thanks so much!

Gravatar i def like your glittens and would love to have a more detailed version and numbers to try that out. Also do you have any ideas on how to just do like fingerless gloves??

Gravatar Starting them today!! I got sport weight, but seems to be going well. only have 1 1/2 done on the ribbing so for!

Gravatar They are beautiful & functional -
The design is awesome - you do great

can see why everyone wants a pair-

Gravatar I love your glittens, what are great idea. Your knitting is beautiful.

Gravatar I downloaded the glitten pattern can't wait to knit it. The doggie is darling did you do his sweater?

Gravatar I know you posted this pattern ages ago but I have just found it. Thanks so much - your mittens and glittens look wonderful, and I shall be trying them out. The instructions look rather complicated, so I shall have to sit quietly somewhere away from usual distractions - this could be difficult - but will try!
Thanks again.
Shirley I.

Gravatar Hello! Thank you for writing this pattern up; I can't wait to try it out. I recently LOST =( a fair isle store-bought mitten. Alas, it will remain unrecovered, but I am now attempting to make my own! I've made mittens before, but we'll see how this goes. Thank you!

Gravatar Wow-these mittens are beautiful and so practical. THANK YOU for making the concept so easy to understand! I've been doing a lot of research on flip-top mittens and these are by far the clearest!

Gravatar I linked to you from Ruths blog - and I found these smart glittens in beautiful colours Thank you for explaining photos - I will return to your blog another day, probably with some questions too..
