What about fingerless mitts in the Fall? Glad your face is doing better although it stinks that you had to go on steroids for it...they make me really edgy when I take them.

Those mitts are great. They would be great for driving the car in the winter, the steering wheel is always cold. I think you are going to take to spinning like a duck to water. Did you look at wheels at all?????
Are you able to knit twice as fast with the Prednizone?

Kudos to you on the prednizone. That should do it. I love your mitts and you've already knit up your spindle spun yarn. You are amazing! You will look back on this yarn and wish you could make your yarn lumpy again. 
I'm so proud of you and your spinning. You are my inspiration and a major reason I am definitely looking forward to retirement.
Such a happy post - so many good events to report. Although I've decided not to spin, I'll be watching your adventures with great interest. The mitts are lovely. I wear mine all the time in the winter at work while the heat is gearing up and I have to use the computer. I don't think they'd be any use outside.
I do like that linen towel.
The Maine Mitts are pretty, too. They could be worn over a pair of wool gloves for extra warmth. That is often how I wear my fingerless mitts.
Love the towel! Will have to think about that pattern as I've been wanting to try the Euroflax. And nice job on the mitts

OH I love the mitts and the yarn you spun. That had to be fun to have created it all beginning to end. Congrats BG and I know you had a good time in that water.

I've never really had the desire to learn to spin but if anyone can inspire me, you can....I'll keep checking in on your progress.

Love the finished projects. Let us know how the euroflax wears. I have a shawl with it, but it doesn't get the use a hand towel would. How many skeins did you end up using?
And I'm SO glad your skin is better. #1 Son has issues with eczema when he was younger, so while I didn't have the issues personally, I did live vicariously thru him. And it wasn't FUN.
I am so glad that you are getting some relief, skin conditions can be so miserable. I had to giggle at BG, I'm sure he enjoyed himself and no harm done, toddlers will be toddlers. The yarn you spun knitted up nicely.
I'm getting concerned about you. You haven't posted in nearly a week and that's very unlike you. Give us an update just to makre sure everything is ok out your way.
