How lucky of you to win this prize from tiny happy! I always love what she does.
The other morning as I was going to my car, I saw this cardinal singing at the top of his lungs on top of a telephone pole. I thought it was a really beautiful thing and made my day that day. I always look for birds when I'm outside, I think that they're beautiful and so happy all the time. How can you be unhappy after that!
I would love bundle one if I were to win!

That locket is so sweet. Congrats on winning all the wonderful little things!
Something that makes me happy? We're getting a thunderstorm at this moment in Minneapolis - that always makes me smile. I love the sound of rain falling. No matter what state of mood I'm in rain can always calm and bring me back home. I grew up in Seattle, so it really does remind me of home.
Please add me to the drawing. I'd go for either bundle, both lovely and bursting with opportunity.

What a beautiful prize you won...!
I will have a go trying to be as lucky as you , sharing my happy stuff.
What makes me happy right now is to watch the magnolia in my garden turn from grey, dull branches to small hairy buds, and finally; giant crispy white flowers on bare stems.
If I should be one of the two lucky ones, I would make a place in my home for either bundle, but I would prefer the neutral one.
Have a great week!

A little thing that makes me happy is waking up and hearing baby birds chirping in the birdhouse not far from my window, and then getting up and diving straight into a good book and some refreshing knitting project.
Both yarn groups are gorgeous, of course, but I think I like the jewel tones just a tiny, tiny bit more than the neutrals.

Congratulations on winning! What a treat. Something that I feel is a 'tiny happy'. Every day I look forward to the time at night when I settle in bed after a long and busy day. Climbing in between fresh sheets (especially if they have been dried on the clothesline) with my book is always a joy. Usually there is a cat or two nestled in and my husband beside me. The children are asleep in their beds. It always gives me such a sense of contentment, accomplishment and peace.

I love my daughter but a happy moment in my day is just after she finally falls asleep for the night. it's nice to have some quiet in the house and be able to take a deep breath and release all the activity and tension (good & bad) of the day.

My ‘tiny happy’ is whenever I see my desert tortoise, Mr. Tuttles, out in the back yard. And then, I get another ‘tiny happy’ as he starts marching his way towards me with a demanding swagger almost yelling, “FEED ME.” I never fail to get a kick watching him. I just put up a video of him eating if you click over to my blog.

How kind of you to share your good luck.
As I walked through the park today, I noticed that the playground was full of moms and tots having a great time playing. One little girl, about five, broke away and started to climb a tree. I love the neutral bundle! My daily "tiny happy" occurs every evening when I sit down to knit and watch TV. My little doggie Tippy lays down beside me, lays his head on my leg, looks up at me with those liquid brown eyes and lets out a little sigh that just melts my heart. Isn't it amazing that most of our "tiny happys" don't cost a dime?

The tiny thing that makes me happy? The fact that my kids must thump, thump, thump - run - to the door when their dad comes home. They can't walk, they can't stay where they are. It's awesome and makes him smile every day when he's back. I wonder how long it'll last before they get too cool and give him a hello instead.

One tiny thing that makes me happy... my cat Scooter climbs next to me on the bed at about 5:15 or 5:30 each morning. He lays down next to me on his back with his tummy straight up in the air and catnaps next to me like that until I have to get up at 6:00.

Hello,
Congrats on your winning your tiny happy gift. She is very creative. Now that my children are becoming older I am able to revisist all of the crafts that I have stashed away. I have a bunch of fabric and embroidery floss that I am now going to have to dig out. One of the many things that are a "tiny happy" for me is snuggling with my son in my bed piled under the covers watching a movie. We are currently watchin The Tale of Desperaux. Thank you for such an inspiring blog. Sherry

Oh, I love this idea. I had a wonderful godmother who always noticed the simple, wonderful beautiful things in life and would share them with me and with her kids. I try to do the same with our kids. Yesterday, it was this huge lilac bush that bloomed almost overnight - it is one of my favorites every spring. I'm taking great joy in seeing what plant "pops" each day.

I love surprises in the mail - how lucky (and generous) you are!
Of the tiny things that make me happy, petting my husband's hair is a pleasure that I think only yarn nuts would really understand (because everyone else is like, "dude, why are you fondling that when you could be moving on to better things? You are a strange girl.") Seriously, though, it not only smells lovely and home-like, but it has the springy squishiness of yarn with cashmere in it, which is very hard to resist indeed.
(I'd like the neutral, please).

My Tiny Happy or simple pleasure is sitting with friends at the local knitting shop around a table and enjoying the moment on a Saturday afternoon after a long week of work.
I would be happy with either bundle of yarn, they are both beautiful.

This one is really easy right now! Here in NE Ohio, things are just greening up and I walked down my driveway to get the mail and caught the scent of our crabapple tree and hyacinths. After this past winter, that absolutely makes me very happy!
Neutrals for me, please.

It always makes my day when my husband makes a pot of tea for me while I am in my shower. Seasonally, waking up to falling snow in winter, or seeing the tulips blooming in spring are two of my favorite things.
Both bundles are beautiful, but I think I prefer the neutrals.

You are SO lucky to have won the tiny happy giveaway! I love her work, especially her embroidered feathers. My tiny happy is seeing my baby smile (he does a lot of crying and fussing, so the smiles make it all worthwhile). I would love to win either yarn bundle, I think I'd probably choose the neutral.
Thank you!

Wow, that neutral bundle is a dream, right there. I'm such a fan of that Rowan, and I've never splurged on cashmere. I'd love that.

The jewel bundle looks so vivid. (I'm having a vivid winter, I think. Everything I see that attracts me is in bright colours. Just perfect for knitting as the weather turns cool.)
A tiny thing that made me happy today was sitting in my sons' guitar lesson and hearing my oldest son play "Blackbird' by the Beatles beautifully... he played so well that he impressed the teacher. I was knitting a baby hat and I kept my eyes shut and just listened as I knitted....

My silly dog is the "tiny thing" that always makes my day (even though she weighs 70 pounds!). Even when I am wiping the sleep from my eyes to start the day, I take one look at Miss Dottie and smile...even if I desperately want to sleep for just a bit longer!! Her sweet but silly looks are enough to make my heart flutter.
Thanks for the giveaway. Both lots of yarn are beautiful. But I LOVE the jewel tones!!!

Congratulations on your win. A tiny happy for me - every morning after I get the kids packed up and off to school - I pick up our new little Westie puppy, hold her on my lap and rub her ears - she always lets out the loudest sigh - so I guess it is a tiny happy for me and her! I am blessed with lots of tiny happy moments with a 1-year old and a 3-year old. Yesterday it was when we had family time playing Wii Fit. My little 18 pound 1-year old running in place about made me fall over in laughter (arms swinging at full force, head moving from right to left, and feet left stationery on the ground).
I love the neutral bundle, but the jewel bundle has my mother-in-law's name written all over it ... it's about time to start thinking about Mother's Day.

The tiny thing that makes me happy is a soy caramel latte in the morning from the gourmet coffee place next door. It's pricy, so I don't get it more than once every 10 days (yes, I count) but it makes me sooo happy when I get it, or when I know I can get it tomorrow.

So neat that those beautiful things arrived in your mail - unexpected goodness in the mail is one of my favourite things also. I used to live in the far north of Canada and still have several close friends there. An unexpected phone call from one of them is right up at the top of my favourite things list. Jewel, 'cause I am especially drawn to the rusty tones of the fleece artist!

Hmmm....that's a hard one. There are a lot of little things that make my day! Most of them have to do with my kidlets-- my two-year-old says the cutest things sometimes! And I always love watching how my three kiddos interact. One of my favorite things is watching my oldest (he's eight) read books to his younger sisters.
Both yarn bundles are beautiful but I'm particularly drawn to the jewel tones.

something that makes me happy- when I go to feed my chicks and they all scurry toward my hand putting the food in their little trough and then run all over each other to get to it...also, when my 5 year old sister giggles and laughs...i hate to go through a day without hearing her laugh
i love the jewel tones but I would probably actually use the neutral ones more!

Whoops. Forgot the tiny happy.
I have a window full of plants in my office. My co-workers call it "the jungle". The begonia blooms little yellow flowers. I never thought I had a green thumb, but apparently I do, because all the plants are thriving. Turning my head and seeing all the green life gives me at least a dozen 'tiny happies' per work day.
And I still like the neutral stash.

Beautiful yarn!
I've learned to knit in the last 5 months and have yet to purchase any yarn that is "very" costly.
I wanted to make a shrug that a friend was just starting but the yarn was $60.00. One day I hope to be there, maybe? but not yet.
Socks are my tinyhappy right now.

The tiny happy thing that makes me smile is morning in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. I run there several days a week, and the mix of people out doing their thing at 6 in teh morning is beautiful. I especially loved teh late winter, when I would be there early enough to see teh sun rise over the lake. Not your typical urban scene.

What a lovely locket! And what a great prize.
I have two things that qualify as "tiny happy" in my book: 1) I love when my 23-month old daughter asks me to "Snuggle, Mommy! Snuggle!" each morning and 2) I love the extremely satisfying sound the vacuum cleaner makes when I suck up cat litter, spilled pasta, or the like.
I'd love the neutral bundle. It just reminds me of the cool, windy shore of Lake Michigan where I grew up.

Congratulations on the giveaway. Love the little cross stitched case especially.
Both bundles are beautiful, but I think the neutral bundle is calling me just a little bit more...

Dear Nicole,
You have 295 comments. You are blessed indeed.
My tiny happy today? I wasn't feeling well all day (the Weaver-Bergh household has been sick for the past few days), and I took a long, long, hot shower. My shower is just a shower, but it was perfection this evening.
I would love either bundle. I've been eying that very ball of Noro for some time.

First of all, congratulations on winning Melissa's lovely things. I also entered her contest, and am trying not to covet. ;-Ʋ
A tiny thing that makes me happy is when my little Min Pin comes bounding up on my bed in the morning, rushes straight up to my face and gives me tiny, wet good morning kisses.
Both bundles are lovely, but if I won and had to choose, I'd pick the jeweled bundle.

This is so sweet of you! I believe in passing along good karma, too.
A 'tiny' thing that makes me happy? Right now, it's the wilted dandelion that my 3 1/2 year old son picked for me when out learning to ride his bike without his training wheels last night. Despite numerous attempts (last summer and this) to tell him they are weeds, he still includes them in the flower family. And I love it. I've stopped trying to dissuade him because it is so sweet when he gives them to me. I'm tearing up just thinking of it.

So generous of you to pass along your good luck.
Being able to step out into my little patch of garden and dig in the dirt is my 'tiny happy' start to the day.
The jewel toned bundle is lovely.

Checking the tiny nest that is holding 2 tiny, spotted eggs has been my recent tiny happy. Even more amazing is the way the mother sparrow has woven the long strands of hair from our horse's tail into the nest - she is truly a natural fiber artist! The colors of the neutral bundle bring happy thoughts of white sand and blue water.

So many tiny happy things, but let's say the sound of the key in the lock when any member of my family comes home.
Lovely yarn - the neutral bundle, especially.

Little things that make me happy? There are so many! Like when my boyfriend calls me unexpectedly... Or seen the blue sky... See how plants grow...Or seeing someone do a nice little thing for others, just because they want to help.
I love both bundles you are giving away (you are so generous!), so I could take either one... But maybe the neutral bundle is even prettier.

I'd love the neutral bundle. I love a few minutes on my porch watching the hummingbirds at our feeders. A good cup of tea or coffee there is an added happy.

the tiny happy thing that makes me the happiest in springtime is the bright green color of the small leaves popping out on all the trees. This color lasts for such a short period of time that I savor it every day it's there. Then suddenly it's gone, to be replaced by the full darker green color of the mature leaves.
(I like the jewel bundle best) Thanks for doing this give away...very generous.

Lovely prizes for the lucky winners!

So sweet that you got a locket like you wanted! Lots of tiny things make me happy-a splotch of gold paint, a lick from my puppy, smelling my boyfriends cologne in a hug...
I would love the jewel tones if I win. Either way-great blog!

I have just found your lovely blog. After losing my dog on the 1st of April (still can't believe she has gone) My young pup comes and put her head on my knee when I start to cry, almost to say 'I'm here, be happy' and most days it seems to work.
Have a happy week.
