I saw this American Idol show...and you are correct...it was beautiful and very meaningful...as well as very surprising...

Im glad you posted this. I had heard about it but I didnt get to hear the song. Lovely. I am so glad we can still do this in America. One has to wonder for how much longer though.

I heard them sing this the first time on the fund raiser show at my friends house. On that show they left out the word Jesus. Than I heard they sang it again on Idol and left Jesus in it!

I think it was so great that they sang this song on this type of show. I'm really baffled by the whole thing though and just pleasantly surprised...still.
