Hi Jeannine; this video is so touching. Even though I'm young and have no known reasons to question my fertility, I have wondered about this too: what if we are unable to conceive? I talked about this with my fiance and we think that if God doesn't bless us with children of our own, we could make great adoptive parents. My fiance has a cousin who is adopted, and a cousin of mine married a widower with 3 adopted little children, so we both had the opportunity to see how adopted children can be such beautiful blessings.
I hope, of course, that you will have many children like you dream about, God willing, and without any complications.

P.S. We are teaching dog commands now in German, and have for some time. But, a few I am not sure if we are saying them correctly. We say "sitz platz" for sit. "Aus" to tell the animal to leave a room or area. What command do you use to tell the dog to 'heel' or walk beside you? We do use "Halt" for stop. Are there any other 'typical' dog commands that you might be able to share with me? I tell you, I need to be surrounded by German-speaking people! My memorization skills are horrible. And, we do listen to c.ds. a lot and do have a few books as well. I'm going to keep working on it - for the rest of my life! :D Thank you so much for your help!
Thanks, Robin! We hope to have a dog sometime too, maybe in a few years. Right now we wouldn't have the time for a dog and our landlady doesn't allow animals anyway.
I think sit is "Sitz" whereas "Platz" means something like lie down. The command for walking by heel should be "Bei Fuß". "Aus" is used if you want the dog to stop doing something or drop something. Hope this helps .
