you've got your license already? not exactly chowing down on haute cuisine where i'm at (although we did make a trip to morton's in SF)but all the pies, donuts, cookies and clam chowder is incredibly yummy

oh and this black out chocolate cake from the cheesecake factory was fantabulous. tasted better take away because the cake become more moist somehow.

Yes, I have my licence. It didn't occur to me you were out of town, though I do now recall you telling me about that.

How is your trip? I'm very honoured your visiting my blog in the midst of all that food haha.

Gravatar There's a French restaurant called L'Angelus along Club St which isn't St Julien expensive and has yummy food.

But I agree, the Au Petit Salut set lunch is quite worth it.

Gravatar I really like Au Petit Salut myself. One of the best set lunches I've ever had. Not sure if you tried Jaan @ Equinox, they've got a pretty good lunch deal for $30 with choice of dessert from the a la carte menu! Another good one is Oso Ristorante along Tanjong Pagar ($28?). Happy haute cuisine-ing!

Gravatar I haven't tried Jaan, but I have been to Oso, though only for dinner. I'll get round to posting a review eventually...

Gravatar Spoke to the chef Patrick Heuberger once when me and a friend were waiting for out tables. He's Swiss French.
