Thanks Weylin, useful to know when I’m in Singapore. Here we are spoilt for choice thanks to Italian migrants roasting the various blends. There's a competition of coffee bean suppliers for my office's Saeco machine. It would be difficult even for the Taiping coffee man to compete here. While we were in HK the best tasting & priced cuppa was at McCafe Mongkok. Otherwise it’d be $38HKD to takeaway a cup of decent American brand named. I would rather get the boost from 2 large cans of Guinness plus 1 San Miguel for that price.

Hi there,
Great post on Black. I used to frequent Dimbulah round the corner, but I've been going there for the past few months because I prefer their coffee blend and nicer ambience. Great for a quick tipple in the evenings after work as well.

I like coffee but what I like more is that bit of cake which yr description makes so scrumptous. Will check out Black the next time I'm in that part of the world, maxing out my free parking @ OUB Centre!
