I saw Goblet of Fire twice the week it came out after blazing through all six books, and I share in all of your disappointment--I expected a lot more, but I still liked the movie okay.

Perhaps the fifth movie will set up the disagreement between Dumbledore and Fudge? (Hopefully, since it really is necessary to the plot of Order of the Phoenix....)

That's a perfect way to sum it up-more about chronicling events than developing the story line, which was a major wrong step IMO.
