The poor executive folk at her dads shop who now have to stand aside for her and her need to be noticed--

I think more to the point--her life was just starting to spin right out of control and she got reminded by Dad about priorities and also...it is much harder to attend a 12-step group (of her choice) while being a committed MP -- she will now be able to be absent as much as Paul Martin was--
