I don't remember Kerry using the Heinz private jet to get around the nation like McCain is doing using Cindy's private "Budweiser" jet! Teresa has a Gulfstream but she uses it for her many charities and she seemed not as intent getting herself into the White House.

OT. Jay Bakker, son of evangelists Tammy Faye and Jim, is calling out the Houston megachurch preacher, Joel Osteen, to meet with a GLBT group for a picnic this weekend in Houston. So far, Rev. Osteen claims to be "too busy" writing a sermon to meet with them!

Osteen's "feel good" "Christian-lite" theology isn't "lite" enough it appears to accept gay folks it appears.
It appears that the pastor of America's largest megachurch, Rev. Joel Osteen, will not attend a Soulforce picnic tomorrow hosted by Houston GLBT groups.

Four of Houston's largest megachurches have accepted the invitation to the picnic whereas two, including Osteen's church, have declined. Surely, out of 45,000 members of his church, there are some GLBT persons sitting silently in his pews.
