Tom, I think the (counter-)demonstration made it to the Belgian news.
Yesterday, there was an item about a demonstration by some grannies against the war (the grannies peace brigade). They showed this agitated older woman ranting against Bush calling him names.
They also showed people from a counter-demonstration, one of the participants was also an older, but better mannered, woman, telling that supporting the troops also means supporting the mission
The reporter told that the demonstration was the start of a long campaign that would end at Bush's ranch.

I guess the report is about the same demonstration as the one you participated in? There was no Cindy Sheehan in sight, but I think you can see the banner "Cindy Sheehan starving for attention".
Yes, Peter, the video is from the same demonstration. And you are correct, the banner in the video is ours, and the lady in the wheelchair saying that you cannot support the troops without supporting the mission was in our group.
I'm impressed and pleased that the Belgium news covered our side as well.
It's a pretty fair and balanced report, I'd say.
I saw and heard the grannies, they did their thing while the group was up next to the White House fence(photo #6 in my post). They're all a bunch of nuts. These leftist demonstrations draw every loony-toon whacko there is; I've been to enough to know.
The reporter is also correct that the lefties plan to go to Bush's ranch in Crawford TX and continue their fast there.
Ask yourselves where all your hate comes from.
Her son died. She doesn't agree with the war. The President lied. She's upset by that. She protests. Fully within her rights.
Why are so upset?
If you are right, then what do you have to fear from Cindy Sheehan?
That should read "Why are you so upset?
