First of all, welcome to the MBA. By way of introduction, my name is Michael Swartz and I'm the person who does monoblogue.
As a campaign treasurer, hopefully you checked into having a personal blog that deals with political issues from time to time. I'm actually a candidate for Wicomico County's Republican Central Committee so when I asked our board of elections about my situation with monoblogue, they advised me that I should put a authorization disclaimer on the site, and, since I use the blog for some campaign-related issues, to treat the payment for my server as an in-kind contribution from me to my campaign (so I'm prorating 89 days of my yearly server fee since I filed June 16th.)
I'm guessing you're in the clear with Crablaw since Dave Fischer already has a campaign website but I think the disclosure is a good step too.

Agree totally. I believe that my one post does not constitute in-kind value, since it mentions all candidates in neutral, bland way and discusses the merits and demerits of none.
Good luck on your race!
