I never got to visit New Orleans before the storm and now I will never have the chance to remember her the way she was - surely that's worth a couple hundred thousand.

All kidding aside, a lot of the folks that were displaced by the storm were living in little shanty houses while collecting their monthly government checks. Woooohooo! Seems their rich Uncle Sam may be setting them up quite nicely for the rest of their lives! Freaking insanity ... I am so sick of this 'something for nothing' mentality.

Christi...the old joke was that half of Louisiana was under water and the other half was under indictment. A huge part of Nawlins that was washed away was akin to giving your toilet a good flushing after a long night of tacos and gin.
