Gravatar Great stuff, Creature. Linked you in the roundup at No One Knows

Gravatar Thanks H, I'm a bit humbled by your words.

Gravatar Strange to see some of the conservative sites trotting out the old "this is what the liberals want" strategy, right Dean? I don't think it was "liberals" that bombed the temple and it isn't "liberals" doing the revenge killings. It is the beneficiaries of our liberation.

Regardless of who perpetrated the bombing, it is people like Richard Perle who are responsible for the current situation in Iraq. I wonder how long some people will listen to him as they contrast what he and Cheney and Bush say with what they see with their own eyes on the news.

What they see is violent mobs reacting to heinous bombings and constant killing. Seven more American boys dead (with hardly a mention in the papers) and the streets crowded with rampaging mobs of religious fanatics engaged in revenge killings. When will Richard Perle be scorned and disgraced for the fool he is? Why is he shown any modicum of respect by people like Chris Matthews?

I would pay money to see him scorned and disgraced. Maybe something public, like an Iraqi town square?

Gravatar Unfortunatly the media is under the spell of these people. Also, there is such an outrage towards any who would question the motives of this guy and so the media is timid.

I hear that the media has a liberal bias, which is likely true on some levels, but it is not nearly as pronounced as the right will suggest.

Someone in the media, a powerful spokesperson, needs to examine the war in Iraq, align all of the facts, and determine whether or not this has been necessary.

A major motion picture might be good idea.

Gravatar A Sunni politician suggested that Iran was responsible for the Golden Dome bombing. Indeed, these are ends sought by Iran.

The bombing was a direct attack on Sadr and his Mahdi Army, the most lethal Shiite faction in Iraq. Although the mosque had been guarded by Sunnis in Sunni territory, Sadr counseled restraint against the Sunnis, instead redirecting the backlash against the U.S.

Something stinks, and it's not just Bush's inexplicable desire ignore all the indications that a unified Iraqi government is not going to work. Sure, Sadr doesn’t like the U.S., but why on earth would he hold back on the Sunnis, if he really thought they were responsible?
