Um, wow. When I first saw the title to this post on memorandum I assumed the assaulted again part was in reference to people immediately jumping on the incident to make cheap political points about Brown-shirts before the people who did this are even found, in effect using her misfortune to spice up blog posts.
Um, the brown-shirts I reference are the commenters who found the Randi incident a perfect time to bash her personally. I do not mention why or what theories abound for her assault (time will tell on that one). Thanks for stopping by, Bill B, and for reading what I did not write.
It turns out she may not have been mugged at all. Reports I read indicate that she simply fell and injured himself. Still sucks, but a different story.
I am all for Air America and wish it success, but I really don't like Rhandi Rhodes. She's a left-wing Limbaugh... all anger, no substance. At least Sam Seder has a sense of humor.
Thanks, Blue. Though I will take issue with your Randi comment. She is not a left-wing Rush. She may blow hard sometimes, but she does not lie and she does her homework.
Oh, I know she doesn't lie or distort facts.
But her show is very angry. I just can't listen to that type of radio... to me, bathing in that anger is why conservatives love talk radio (Rush says we need to hate the media today... megadittos!) and I am weary of it on our side.
Maybe I'm boring, but I prefer NPR. Just as informative, but keeps my blood pressure at a healthy level.
