Seeing your pictures of the Miraculous Medal Shrine in the Rue de Bac remind me of my visits there in 1985 and 2000. What wonderful memories-even when I was 'evicted' by a Daughter of Charity for slipping inside behind a group during my first visit!

I don't remember seeing that statue of Archbishop Darboy at Notre Dame, but I do remember seeing the one of Archbishop Affre, who was shot at the barricades in 1848.
