My own art work has been evolving to include more collage. One piece I haven't posted was for a cool fundraiser. WE need an Arts Center in our area desperately because we're outgrowing other ones.
I was one of the handful of artists, along with my teen children :), to make artwork to be auctioned off. WE donated everything. The raffle winners won an orginal piece of art in the shape of a palette.
Mine was the only collage of its type. My kids were the only children to participate. HOwever, the person in charge, used that idea of teen artists to approach the school system and many more teens will participate in this year's fundraiser. (The Art Center with working artist studios/classes/galleries/etc for the community is being made out of an abandoned building.) It is not open yet, and must be fully funded by other means, other than our county government having approved the zoning and use of the building.
YOur pieces of your kids' arwork remind me of fridge art photots I've saves of my kids stuff. And I did save several of their real things. Glad he loves to create :)
