My 2yo is crazily in love with our pets, especially our yellow-eyed old black cat. He can be pretty violent in his expressions of love, though. I WISH this cat would scratch him, but the most he ever does is saunter a few feet away, only to return to the scene of the assault a few minutes later -- bless his little kitty heart. I'm a cat person too (can you tell?).
Aw! The D'arcy and Nippy photo is *darling*! And I'm lovin' the 4-yr-old wisdom...Noel gets me rolling with her's (well, OK: 3-yr-old wisdom), as well.
