We spent a good investigative half hour this afternoon watching grandma release some great big frogs from a bucket into her backyard pond. Result: squeals of joy from the 2yo. And a very satisfied grandma.
:) Snails. A very expensive food.

Julie - frogs! cool. I'd love to have a garden, and a pond, and frogs...the hard thing here is that the local birds eat them (and the local cats)...

Yep, you bet. That is them...I haven't got the 'width for the mp3s, but some of those live tracks look good value...

Hi Erin, good that you could drop by! I don't mind snails as long as they stay away from my seedlings, but I can't do slugs at all...I was the butterfly kind of girl in terms of catching and looking at...
ooh, critters- neat. I almost majored in biology. (I know I ended up w/ science degrees, but now am back to being an artist) Love watching children discover. :)
