Wow, that's pretty cool :)
I can't encourage our feathered friends into the garden incase one of the cats gets a free lunch, like they did the other day, first kill of the year *sigh*
But yeah, parrots in the garden... that's whacky. And "chat to each other in parrot all the time" LOL I bet that Roger Whittaker guy knew how to speak parrot ;)

These buggers'd be too big for a cat to tackle. They're more than 40cm beak to tail, but it is lovely to listen to them, and if you practise enough you can join in. Though if you're like me you have no idea what you are saying.

Oh yes, Julie they sure do. They are a parrot, so like a budgie or a cockatoo, they can hold on to anything with their claws, or beak, and hang off it. In fact the guy in the photo has his left claw raised and is holding a bit of the branch so he can strip the seeds off it better. I didn't manage to get any good upside down photos though.

Awesome bird! I adore bird watching. I don't belong to any official group- just sneak peaks at the birds that visit the woods near our home or when I'm out walking. So colorful a parrot. I've never seen one like this.
