Sometimes food-disguising is the only way to feed kids. I've been known to sneak Aldi-brand weetbix thingies into a 'real' Weetbix box, just to satisfy the brand-fussy kid...

lime pickle
What's this? A sour pickle? Anyway, creative way to get those veggies in! I'll have to use it for my boys. :)

Way to go, duck! I have other techniques too, but I like that one.
mrsd - it's an Indian pickle. I get mine from the shop in a jar (Patak's you can get it in the US, even tho it's English-Indian), but you can make your own. I love it, all salty and sour and spicy.

Oooh! The old disgusting name disguise!
I love it.
My trick is to grate up carrots and put them in tomato sauce. I've also been known to hide spinach in lasagna.

Liz, YES! carrots in the tomato sauce (I assume you mean a meat sauce for spaghetti) are a regular for me, and it works as long as it's cut fine enough. I"ve also grated other things (Zucchini, mushrooms) and put them in too. But spinach in the lasagne doesn't work for us - my mum has tried it on him, but he sees all the green bits and protests. But perhaps that is because she puts it in distinct layers - one is tomato, one is fetta and spinach.
