Gravatar Why do Canberra people run around when it rains? I walk, very slowly, with my face up. It was brief, but glorious today.

Gravatar That is a funny thing, and I wondered similar things about it myself when it began, though I was in my house. I went out and stood in it for a while. I remembered times as a teenager when I relished a long walk in a downpour. God knows what my teachers thought.

Gravatar I can't sleep... I nearly went for a walk in the rain but then it stopped... and then I'd probably get stopped too for walking about Farnborough at 3 in the morning!

I hate it when people sneeze on/near you too... *shivers*

Gravatar People tend to look at you strangely if you're 30+ walking around at 3 am in the rain. Probly a good thing you didn't. The carps might get you.

Gravatar s'been raining a fair bit here... even though Honiara's supposed to be in a rain shadow. it's nice and cool, but can make progress through town a little slow when everyone's trying to share the one un-muddy curb!

Gravatar Hey Loz! maybe you can send me some non-sneezy rain. It's cold here today (17)

Gravatar Well, I'd say you're pretty entitled to some complaint, actually.

Gravatar I'm envious! It almost never, ever rains when it's warm here in Oregon. Don't get me wrong-it rains all the bloody time. It's always just cold, too. Which makes it extra special.

Gravatar Jay - I complain way too much, darl.

DD - I've been in your kind of rain too, but I wouldn't complain too much about having some now. We really need it...

Gravatar There sure is pleeeenty here. Just got back from Gizo and Munda, and Munda in particular is one of those places where all clothes etc. are just damp all the time. Went for a nice walk this morning in the rain (nice and warm, but not too hot for walking for a change!), got a bit lost and almost missed my plane!
