We started a swear jar, but it just got too expensive, so we all lost interest :)
It's a funny thing, D lost interest almost immediately when he found that he was the only one being taxed. The rest of us were too smart to get caught, but it did remind us not to swear for a day or so. A group house I used to live in had a 'Juliet' jar into which a particular housemate had to pay a fine when she mentioned this woman's name (she was always bitching about her, and we wanted her to get over it...) it also failed.
