Gravatar fingers are crossed and good vibes are being sent
out of curiosity - why wasn't this done a long time ago? it seems like something that could REALLY improve his quality of life
I hope it does anyway!!

Gravatar My prayers are with Allan and you today. I'm sure he's in good hands. I know you live in an area where medical expertise abounds.

{{hugs}}

p.s. Let us know the outcome as soon as you have a chance.

Gravatar Please update when you can; I will be thinking of both of you all day. {{{{hugs and love to J and A}}}}}

Gravatar yes - update ASAP!!
it's hard getting stuff done with my fingers crossed like this!!

in case you haven't noticed - I'm the one that jokes in stressful situations haaaa

Gravatar All the best to both of you!

Gravatar YAY! We did it!

Well, okay, he did it.

Gravatar Brian, yup. I'm just leaving to go pick him up. He's free!!! And of course we have another snow storm so driving all the way downtown should be fun.

Gravatar YAY!! I'm so glad everything went well!!

Gravatar Awesome! Here's to you guys! *holds up glass of vino, pretends it's afternoon already*

Gravatar well Amber - as my grandma always used to say 'it's gotta be 4 o'clock somewhere!' hehehe

Gravatar YAY! I'm so glad that he made it and that things seemed to have gone well. Hopefully this will make the huge difference in his (and by extension, your) life that it's supposed to.

Gravatar I'm so glad all is well! I'm sure it's a big relief.

(I don't know how I missed your update!)

Gravatar french, from your mouth to God's ear. *s* It's good to see you commenting again. Welcome back to both of us.

Mimi, oh yes! It is a relief to have everything over with. I told him that he's now had his prostate repaired, his back fixed, as well as his heart, not to mention surgery on both his knees years ago - he's done! Nothing left to repair as far as I'm concerned.

Gravatar I remember when my first husband had one of the earliest bi-ventricular pacers put in and how he had to lay flat on his back for hours - ugh! It was just pitiful. For awhile there, it was me and four nurses in the HTICU holding him down.

But it did make a big difference, a huge difference, in his quality of life.

Wish all the best to you & Allan --
