My daughter-in-law, whose family is into Keith Green's music in a big way and indoctrinated us, was born on the day he died. Kind of a strange claim to fame, I know, but yesterday was of course her 25th birthday.
"There Is a Redeemer" always seems to bring me to tears. Rich Mullens is another one who died tragically at an early age but left a legacy of music glorifying God.
Oops, that would be Mullins.
GM: Mullins' song Step by Step was sung at my first husband's memorial service. It was one of his favorite Christian songs.
2 years and 1 month later, Mullins himself was gone as well.
