Tom Kean gives the movie his seal of approval on the Scholastic website (which repackages the film as "educational" material for schools):
"As the Chair of The 9/11 Commission, I worked closely with the filmmakers and the network to ensure the miniseries accurately reflects both the facts and the spirit of the Commission’s findings. In addition to my input, the film reflects the guidance of many people who were involved in the events depicted—from the CIA, the FBI, the Secret Service, and the White House.
"Because of that commitment to accuracy as well as a sincere respect for the subject, The Path to 9/11 provides a unique opportunity for educators to bring those lessons into the classroom, spark discussion, and help students gain understanding about what led to such a defining moment in our country’s history."

Geez, if ABC chose to presents "the facts", this show would fit snugly in a half hour slot.
Scene 1: Memo falls on desk in Oval Office. A Marmaduke desk calendar shows the date to be August of 2001.
Close up of memo: BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO STRIKE TARGETS IN UNITED STATES. POSSIBLE USE OF AIRCRAFT AS WEAPONS.
A pair of vacant, uncomprehending eyes quickly scan the memo. A voice is heard.
Voice over: "Ah'm going on vacation, Dick. You watch the fort while ah'm gone. Turdblossom! Load up them there kegs will ya?"
Flash forward to September 11th. A montage of flash, fire, screams, bodies falling from skyscrapers.
Interior of school classroom: A uncomprehending oaf sits in a child's chair, desperately trying to appear more intelligent that he has any hope of attaining.
Any chance of seeing that, ABC? I can live without Lost. You Disney bastards.

I don't think this show should be stopped from airing anymore than the Reagan movie should have been stopped.
Nor should The Nightline program listing the soldiers killed in Iraq have been stopped from being shown here in North Alabama.
Free speech for all must be protected, or there will be no free speech at all.
Having said that, I want to make it clear that I want both sides to be presented, because when both sides are presented the more progressive views will no doubt win the hearts and minds of most Americans.

The U.S. was all set to join a global crackdown on criminal and terrorist money havens earlier this year. Thirty industrial nations were ready to tighten the screws on offshore financial centers like Liechtenstein and Antigua, whose banks have the potential to hide and often help launder billions of dollars for drug cartels, global crime syndicates--and groups like Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda organization. Then the Bush Administration took office.

So...
It's Bill Clinton's fault?
Gee, I didn't see that coming.
For what? Warning the incoming Bush administration about the potential problem these people represented? I wonder how strongly they stress that point in this fakeumentary?
And what about all that "wag the dog" crap we kept hearing from the right?
If Clinton is guilty of a fraction of the crap the right has heaped on him over the years then why isn't he in prison?
At the end of the day we were still attacked while George W. Bush was president and again, his administration was warned but they ignored the warnings. Bush has yet to testify under oath as to what he knew and when he knew it. The only thing we know for sure about him on that day is that he was reading a silly childrens book about a goat and then he went on vacation.
And this is what some call leadership. This guy couldn't fall down without stopping to ask for directions.

There probably isn't enough time to get this tv movie pulled, but there is enough time to brand the movie.
Starting tomorrow you start telling everyone you know that you heard about that movie, and you can't bear to watch a movie that disrespects 9/11 as much as ABC apparently does.
It doesn't make any difference how you brand it, but you must convincingly portray the movie as revisionist, as disrespectful, and actors who would portray characters so dishonestly that they shouldn't be in show business.
ABC will have a heart attack and will start upping the advertising budget, but like flight 93 it will go nowhere.
I can't help and wonder why we are just hearing about this a week before its showing.

So what really happenned? What are the facts? Did Clinton give final approval?
http://www.libertyfilmfestival.c...ibertas/?
p=2230
The Path to 9/11″ shows the CIA and the Northern Alliance surrounding Bin Laden’s house in Afghanistan. They’re on the verge of capturing Bin Laden, but they need final approval from the Clinton administration in order to go ahead. They phone Clinton, but he and his senior staff refuse to give authorization for the capture of Bin Laden, for fear of political fall-out if the mission should go wrong and civilians are harmed. National Security Adviser Sandy Berger in essence tells the team in Afghanistan that if they want to capture Bin Laden, they’ll have to go ahead and do it on their own without any official authorization. That way, their necks will be on the line - and not his. The astonished CIA agent on the ground in Afghanistan repeatedly asks Berger if this is really what the administration wants. Berger refuses to answer, and then finally just hangs up on the agent. The CIA team and the Northern Alliance, just a few feet from capturing Bin Laden, have to abandon the entire mission. Bin Laden and Al Qaeda shortly thereafter bomb the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, killing over 225 men, women, and children, and wounding over 4000. The episode is a perfect example of Clinton-era irresponsibility and incompetence.

Agreed. It is an issue of fairness and presenting both sides, and, sometimes airing their, and our, propaganda, that is the issue.
If our views were given an equal viewing then people would at least get a chance to see through the BS and sort the chaff from the Wheat, in which case I have no doubt that most Americans would tend to see things "our way".
One of the most long lasting harmful things Reagan did to the America people was abolishing the Fairness Doctrine as it has slanted the "National Discussion" due to the information, or lack thereof, that we Americans receive from our Corporate Media.

It would be cynical of me to assume that it was a Republican Administration under which the FCC eliminated the fairness doctrine.

Paul L at 6:44pm,
This is why you need to read a few books, it may open your eyes.
1. Tenet is the one the CIA team called and he was the one who feared making a call. The White House was never informed about that raid.
2. Check out the ultra Conservative Cato Institute and look for their Policy Analysis #271 "The Deriliction of the President" published in 1997, the analysis tries to blister Clinton for doing exactly what Bush is doing now.
3. In 1996 Clinton pushed for the "communications for Law Enforcement Act" which compelled the telecoms to rewire their facilities so that they could perform roving taps. Naturally, the Republican held Congress had a fit but they caved in.
By 2000, warrantless taps had been well established and this package was delivered to Bush on a silver platter.
4.So by Conservatives own admission, how do you reconcile the fact that they were performing roving taps well before 9/11.
Tell me how badly did your government let us down? and don't you really think that if is this is true, that maybe there is a good argument for sending the Bush government to the Hague.
I mean impeachment is too good for these people.

I am against this biased piece of crap and I agree that it is an orchestrated smear but...
there seems to be an inertia that travels through all our administrations in that we continually prop up the wrong side, only to fight them, armed with our weapons and experience later.
Afghanistan, Iraq, possibly Iran were all on our side before and received a lot of monetary, military and political support. Now we are having to invade them (supposedly we "have" to invade them) to put things back to our liking.
The really sad thing is give them ten years and the government we are trying so hard to prop up in Iraq will turn on us once again. Propmpting us once again to "have" to invade them.

Tom Kean gives the movie his seal of approval
Kean and Hamilton SOLD the nation out with that fraud commission. They let the child king appear with his pacifier, Cheney, so they would not get their LIES mixed up and they appeared not under oath. What a GD fraud.
Of course there will be NO counter voice to Kean on this because Lee Hamilton is a GD pussy who wouldn't stand up for his Mother. Hamilton has to the biggest worm to have ever slithered the earth.
here's how Lee Hamilton the COWARD sold the nation out on Iran Contra. Hamilton is a spineless whore.
http://www.webcom.com/~lpease/
co...parryspeech.htm
So this was what was happening by the Summer of '86, when Barger and I finally did a story - we had 24 sources by this point - it was getting silly, you know? You know, it wasn't like two sources, or three sources, we were up to 24, and some of them named, and we did this story in June of '86 where we laid a lot of it out - we didn't have all of it, I'll grant - we didn't know about Secord's flights, but we had Rob Owen, and we had Jack Singlaub, and we had how the intermediaries were moving the weapons and so forth.
So we get to this point, and we put this story out, and finally Congress - which had been very afraid of touching this - the democrats were extremely timid - finally Lee Hamilton, who was then Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee takes our little story with the rest of the Intelligence Committee over to the White House and they sit down with Ollie North and they say, "Colonel North - we have this story that says you're doing these things which are kind of illegal, uh, what about it?" He said, "It's not true," they said "Thank you," and they went back to Capitol Hill. And I get a call from one of Hamilton's aides, and he told me, he said - I'll never forget this, because it was probably my worst moment in the whole Iran Contra Scandal - I get this call from a Democratic aide who tells me that Lee Hamilton has looked into my story, and he had a choice between believing these honorable men at the White House or my sources and it wasn't a close call.

OK so something left us wide open to the attacks. I disagree it was Clinton but why hasn't there been any accountability for the reaction or lack there of during the attacks?
How bout the botched response after the attacks?
Does the blame for our response lie squarely on Clinton's shoulders?

How about

I still can't fathom how Bill Clinton gets the blame for something that happened nearly 3/4 of a year after he left office. When you are new on a job you get a short amount of time to pass probation and learn new routines. This does not apply to the Presidency, you don't get a pass when when you are elected to the highest office in the land. You either do the job that the people entrusted you to do, or you fall down on your ass and let your aides point fingers like Bush's cronies and say it was someone else who pushed you.
Clinton did his job, like Bush before him and Reagan before him. You need to ask the question why G.W.Bush let the country down, and you should demand answers.

So what's to be done about this? As usual, America will be bombarded with false information. Not being able to discern fact from fiction and not having anyone there expose the fallacies, they'll unquestioningly believe whatever they're told. Corporate conglomerates own the media, so we can be sure they will be Republican/conservative friendly.

There's at least 25% where it doesn't work that way. There is risk in presenting multiple views when when the two sides are 'reality' vs. 'lies'. Some people like the lies better.

Bush had 8 months in office prior to 9 -11 to either call off the operation or at least do something about it, because of the numerous warnings & briefs and while he was informed the first plane hit the WTC, he continued into the school room for his photo op. and for over 10 minutes did nothing, only to worry if his alibi would work.

And that raises even more questions as to why they wish air this show.
TV News programs claim, for example, that money is the reason that can not do investigative reporting anymore, and yet they are willing to loose money for 6 hours of TV time on what is purported, and appears, to be a slanted view of who is to blame for the fact that 911 happened.
To me, something just doesn't wash here, and it only reinforces my opinion that the MSM is mostly a propaganda machine.

Interesting, especially in light of the quote in the posting about the Republican Congress blocking anti-terror legislation, which was an ongoing problem for Clinton after the first WTC attack.
Given that reality the complaints now that "it is all Clinton's fault" seem to be the rightwing whining that Clinton didn't become the dictator they were all screaming back then that he was trying to become and simply act unilaterally, like...um...Bush!
The righties say Clinton is horrible for trying to undermine the Constitution and praise bush for the same thing.

No Free Speech
When the media is owned by 5 large corporations there is no compeititon or free speech. Big money knows where its interests lie and there is no need for any comnspiracy theories. They all march in lock step.
I went to an FCC townhall meeting a few days ago with Copps and Adelstein in Los Angeles. It was in anticipation of a new battle to deregulate the media even further. I heard testimony by the grassroots I could not believe.
The abuse by the large media companies, especially Disney KABC radio in Los Angeles, of the airwaves is so outrageous their liscenses should be pulled.
I wrote a short description of the event and posted it, but it was deleted. I thought some of the stuff I posted was groundbreaking and a real media scoop but it was was deleted anyway. Some of the data presented may hit Pacifica this week and break through to the MSM.

Sounds to me like they're finally getting around to SERIOUSLY swift-boating Bill Clinton.
As my memory serves... they NEVER had Bin Laden's house surrounded. They knew where he was living... and they could have sent in a missile strike... but people within Clinton's administration were concerned about KILLING WOMEN AND CHILDREN, not knowing exactly what the conditions were on the ground. Moral people, making a moral decision, is not weakness. It is THE AMERICAN WAY.
I suggest that every person take note during the broadcast of exactly which companies place ads in this programming... including your LOCAL advertisers placed by local ABC afilliate stations, then be ready to write letters to the CEO's of each of the advertisers regarding your objections to the facts of the program (if it is as biased as it being stated.)
ALSO, make calls and write letters to those TV stations in your cities which air the program. The TV news departments will LOVE to talk about controversy surrounding a program on their own network.

The neo-cons were the ones, apparently, so sure that evil lurked around the world when they published their PNAC white papers. So, where were they in 2001 when the lead-up to 9/11 unfolded? Were they out there calling for protective measures against terrorist threats? No. In fact, they were eerily silent.
That's what America needs to understand. The newly "elected" George W. Bush, led by his neo-con/PNAC ideologues, did nothing to prepare for a looming threat, in spite of the DOCUMENTED FACT that PNAC apparently believed that dangerous elements in the world threatened the U.S. So why, exactly, were they so silent early in 2001? Why? They must explain this.
My theory? 9/11 was a complicit act, the "new Pearl Harbor" that they knew would quicken the pace of militarization and "American global leadership". The act they needed to convince Americans to support their agenda.
Did they make it happen? Did they let it happen? It really doesn't matter. They knew that such a catalyzing event would work in their favor. And over the last five years we've seen exactly how it has played out.
We Americans need to be asking the hard questions. We need to hold these people's feet to the fire. They need to be investigated with a fine-toothed comb. Now!

Hey, Dickhead. Remember when Clinton ordered the bombing of Bin Laden's supposed "weapons plant" during the impeachment crisis? Nobody complained louder than conservatives when it turned out the CIA's intelligence was faulty and the bombed building had nothing to do with Al Queda.
Clinton and Madeline Albright were scorned, mocked and laughed at by Fox, Rush, National Review, the GOP and everybody else on the Right.
The danger posed by Bin Laden was conveniently ignored by conservatives. Clinton was hamstrung and distrated by the bullshit effort to impeach him, at a time when he was aware of the threat of Al Queda and could well have done something about it.
Bush Lover: if Clinton was at fault for the rise of Al Queda, please tell us what the Republican congress was doing about this threat at the time?

So NOW I know why President Allen was thrown out of office (cancelled). ABC wants to appease their Neocon masters and a show that depicted a COMPETENT President wouldn't do. That's why the CIA wants to create spin crap like this 9-11 movie.
I mean are we to believe that they will actually show the Bush "deer in the headlights" moment when he just sat there for God only knows how long?! And the Dept. of Education (the same ones who wouldn't let Arthur the Bunny talk to lesbian parents) will probably try to shill it into children's classrooms and try to say it's irrefutable (fascist dogma) fact.
Decades from now the Neocon Corporatist/Religious Reich are going to spend the rest of their lives trying to spin the nightmare that has been the Bush pResidency into a Kennedy'esque Camolot in the nations text books to try to convince the nation that their horrific time in charge of the nation wasn't the complete failure that it was (Katrina was Clinton's fault, Iraq was Clinton's fault, abstinence only education that led to a severe rise in teen pregnancies was Clinton's fault, anything that happens under a republicans watch for the next 20 years is somehow Clinton's fault, etc).

Don't make me laugh, annoyed canuck.
The outrage over Clinton's token response and bombing of that plant was due to the fact that it was such a ridiculously transparent wag the dog moment. AND that it was such a "feel good" empty gesture.
Clinton did sweet dick all during his administration, and his incompetent inaction, face reality on this undeniable point, resulted in the death of 3000 US citizens.
Clinton emboldened Al Qaeda, and only a lib denier pretends not to see that. Don't take my word for it...Bin Laden himself is on record as saying the flacid non-responses of the Clinton administration emboldened him.
Clinton cutting and running from Somalia. Clinton doing ab-so-lu-tely NOTHING in response to an unprovoked attack on one of Its warships (the clearest act of war imaginable). Clinton treating the terrorist attack as a criminal matter, instead of a terrorist attack--and doing NOTHING substantial to strike back at Al Qaeda.
All of those events--and more--showed Bin Laden that America was nothing but a king sized paper tiger that would run away from any fight that looked the least bit messy.
F*ck that Clinton is one of the biggest disgraces in US history. All he cared about were blow jobs and popularity polls. He's responsible for 3000 human deaths, and, thanks to the lesson he presented in Somalia (America will run away if you just give them a messy enough fight), he's also responsible for the deaths of over 3000 US soldiers in Iraq.

Uh-huh. Kind of like Reagan ran from Beirut when it got messy there, or the way bush essentially ran from Afghanistan before the job was done, and now it's unraveling. However, the opium production is magnificent, which means more terrorists will get more weapons because that's where the big drug money goes, bush lover. Bush Lover has now been kicked off the thread, but his transparent lie above needs to be pointed out.
Criticizing Clinton for "cutting and running" from Somalia is absurd. Not to mention a huge bit of hypocrisy. Sending American troops to Somalia was roundly criticized by Conservative Senators, Congressmen and pundits as "nation building" - totally unacceptable interference and inappropriate use of US armed forces. I distinctly remember Sean Hannity using the term "nation-building" in his criticism of US presence in Somalia.
It's completely fucked for any conservative, troll or otherwise, to claim Clinton "cut and ran" from Somalia, when this was exactly what every conservative was demanding at the time!!!

The link to a previously passed bill (following the Orrin Hatch quote) is far more interesting:
----------------------
Republicans were divided on whether the legislation would be effective.
"We have a measure that will give us a strong upper hand in the battle to prevent and punish domestic and international terrorism," Senate Majority Leader and presumptive GOP presidential nominee Bob Dole said Wednesday.
But Sen. Don Nickles, R-Oklahoma, while praising the bill, said the country remains "very open" to terrorism. "Will it stop any acts of terrorism, domestic and international? No," he said, adding, "We don't want a police state."
Some lawmakers took a more prudent view of the bill. "The balance between public safety and order and individual rights is always a difficult dilemma in a free society," said Rep. Gerald Solomon, R-New York.
----------------------
Huh. Wonder where those Republicans are now?

Boycott ABC. Why don't they make a movies about George Bush's struggle to speak the English lan guage and about the fact that truth is not a word in his vocabulary? I hope that this show has the lowest rating ever seen on network television. What major companies are advertising during this hideoma?

Keitel is a wealthy actor who can pick and choose his scripts. He obviously would not have chosen to act in this propaganda film unless he agreed with its content. What exempts him more than the director, producer, or ABC from criticism?

Most of the stuff written here is misdirected nonsense. This propaganda film is an attempt to deflect attention away from the 9/11 truth movement which is growing daily [deleted--sorry, no alternative theories of 9/11] The rash of 9/11 propaganda out of Hollywood is deflective propaganda to embed the notion that it was intelligence failures and what not that allowed some "islamofascists" to do this dastardly act.

Now that they've cancelled their Patth to 9/11 web site, perhaps we can cancell ABC!
Besides sending letters and emails, how can we lett ABC be aware of our total disgust of this blatantly manipulative dishonest action?
Boycott their sponsors?
Please someone tell me!

I've read, I think it was Michael Ruppert, that ABC is so penetrated with CIA that it's essentially a CIA front organization. With the recent purge of any CIA leadership position that wasn't manned by a Bush apologist, this kind of hosreshit isn't surprising. This propagandumentary is just towing the party line as part of the KKKarl Rove 2006 campaign strategy. Step 2of that portion of the strategy will be to loudly smear anybody who questions the government version of 9/11 as kooks and tinfoil hat-types. Sneering ridicule.
A sign of desparation. If the House, and maybe the Senate, changes hands, there's going to be investigations (assuming that it doesn't change into the hands of corporatist wing of the Democratic Party). Properly conducted investigation is a nightmare issue to the neocons.

Why does the site monitor censor posts that discuss alternative 9/11 theories in a thread that's about 9/11?
I can understand censoring such posts when they are not relevant to the thread, but what is the problem with discussing such theories when they are germane to the current topic, especially when the thread is about a widely broadcast and false piece of propaganda?
Surely it's no great leap that the Bush administration might be lying about the subject of 9/11 as much as all the other lies so well documented by C&L.
--Confused
[discussions on 9/11 is fine, discussions on conspiracy theories has resulted too often in threads being hijacked, so it is policy to keep a tight rein on it. There are plenty of other blogs happy to host such discussions, and encourage you to go there to discuss conspiracy theory.]

If thread hijacking is the issue that has caused the institution of a tight rein on alternative 9/11 explanations,
perhaps C&L could have a thread every now and then on this subject.
That would certainly help with the pent-up feelings of many comment posters,
and all such comments on other threads could be deleted as irrelevant.
Certainly Bush and his colleagues can't be believed on any subject, especially one as crucial as 9/11.
I've chosen C&L as my political "blog to go to" because I feel that it is the best that I've encountered.
I don't wish to visit conspiracy blog echo chambers.
Thanks for all your good and important work, and I will continue to be a dedicated visitor and promoter of this site.

"...Criticizing Clinton for "cutting and running" from Somalia is absurd..."
Annoyed Canuck | 09.05.06 - 12:11 am
Exactly. And don't forget that George Herbert Walker Bush started that little war AFTER he was defeated by Bill Clinton.
Clinton on the other hand decided, once his Administration had enough evidence, a month before the end of his second term, to prove that Bin Laden and his group of merry men were responsible for the Cole bombing, that rather than starting something a new President would have to finish that he would let the new President take care of it.
And what did the new pResident, mr. george w. bush, and his "Grownup" administration do about the Cole bombing after the Clinton Administration did all the leg work?
"...in early 2001, Clarke warned that the attack on the USS Cole was an Al Qaeda action and that more were to follow, the bush people actually told him, almost verbatim, "That happened on Clinton's watch -- it's not our concern."
http://www.pekingduck.org/archiv...ives/
001740.php
Nothing. Mr. Tough guy and his gang did nothing.
Gosh, that sounds vaguely similar to how george ultimately responded to Mr. "Frankly, I don't know where he is, and I don't think about him that much" Bin Laden after george beat his manly chest while saying about the aforementioned terrorist something like: there's a wanted posted out west, don't know if you got them here, but out west there's a poster saying Dead or Alive.
GWB equals The Great wall of bullsh-t.
Like that wall he just sits there, unaffected by reality, after his useless edifice has been built on the blood, sweat, and tears of millions.
In the end he, and his administration, have no "Socially Redeeming Values".
They accomplishes squat all other than making themselves and the Masters of War richer while making, basically, everyone else on this Globe miserable.

Pardon me, I do not love anything that Bush does, and I have not seen this show, so I cannot yet comment on its tone, but...
The the Clinton administration was there for 3 major attacks and, according to members of its own security staff who wrote the quite appologetic book "The Age of Sacred Terror", could never get their shit together to act.
NOw, this does not absolve Bush of anything he did or did not do, but let us not beat our breast about poor Bill getting blamed unfairly for inaction. Let us not reflexively defend Clinton unwarrantedly the way the right blames him and defends Bush.

Just wondering about some logic that makes no sense to me? Why is it that Clinton gets blamed for 9/11 even though GWB was in office for 9 whole months.... yet I never hear those same people suggest that Papa Bush was responsible for the first World Trade Center bombing in Feb. 1993, even though Clinton had been in power for only 1 month at the time? Their own logic should lead them to blame Republicans for something other than saving the planet! They can't have it both ways.

This is the signal that America is lost to the Goebels of present day America. Now they run shit that doesn't resemble truth at all, and get their propaganda out in a "storybook fashion".
I don't believe this is really happening. Couldn't run a story of Ronny, cause it might cut too close to the bone or might have something in it not quite accurate...but they can run this bullshit and just blow it off as a "docudrama"...not really true you know. No alternative theories on 9/11 only the
official Bush theories allowed or the Democratic variants on the official Bush theory. I don't understand what the complaints are about this right wing variant.
Site Monitor: The ban on 9/11 alternative theories does not equate to acknowledging the official story to be true or that the alternative theories to be false. It is a byproduct of the fact that before the siteowner instituted the ban, EVERY thread was hijacked and posters complained about being abused by those who wanted to shout down their particular theory over others. All we're trying to do is to keep the threads on topic.

All of 9-11 is a conspiracy theory and / or a propaganda fueled matrix, But what each and everyone of you must decide is which theory / propaganda you believe is closer to the truth, and that will take some time on your part to do some investigating on your own. "After investigation, believe that which you have yourselves tested and found reasonable, and which is for your good and that of others.”
If we look at the Bush Administrations Account of 9-11 they say Osama Bin Laden was the mastermind of it and he is completely accountable and will be taken dead or alive. The problem I have with that is factually this “Why has Osama bin Laden not been indicted by a federal grand jury in connection with his alleged masterminding of 9/11?” Go to your post office or on line and look at the top ten most wanted what you will find is that Osama bin Laden is wanted by the U.S. government in connection with the August 7, 1998 bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. What about 9-11? Remember what your government told you?
We can also look at the Osama bin Laden “confession video” from December 13, 2001 and ask yourself why the Government refuses to authenticate this confession video. Try to get the information yourself via the FOIA; what you will get in return is this. "The files are located in an investigative file that is exempt from disclosure pursuant to Title 5, United States Code, Section 552, subsection (b)(7)(A).
So what does Title 5, United States Code, Section 552, subsection (b)(7)(A) say? According to the Explanation of Exemptions sheet included in the government response to Muckraker Report FOIA request:
(b)(7) records or information compiled for law enforcement purposes, but only to the extent that the production of such law enforcement records or information (A) could be reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.
So here we have the Government releasing a confession video to the MSM for replay to the public but the government after all this time is still refusing to state on public record documentation that demonstrates the authenticity process that the U.S. government undertook to authenticate the December 13, 2001 Osama bin Laden video, one must ask themselves is this tape real or a propaganda fake?
Remember we serve no one by withholding information. We do not serve ourselves by refusing to investigate. Lack of information never assisted anyone. Accurate information allows us options; we can choose to take action based upon it or choose to ignore it, but not knowing does not assist us. So put aside your pre-conceived notions, your psychological defense mechanisms, and your prejudices. Take a chance on remembering what could well grant you complete economic, emotional, and spiritual freedom.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident. -Arthur Schopenhauer Philosopher, 1788-1860
So let's look at this Philosophy, After 9-11 the majority of all conspiracy theorists were frowned upon and called crazy, Looney tin foil hat peeps, Then others started speaking out, ex-military personnel, government officials and professionals in certain fields, They to were criticized but not as much as the first responders, as people are starting to wake up ever so slowly to the fact that our government has been lying to us and on more that just 9-11. In my option 9-11 was one of the worst disasters of all time that happened on U.S. soil and to ignore it is just wrong.
“Can we afford to be so arrogant as to pretend we know something we don’t know, the knowing of which could transform our lives - W. Erhart”
"The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous
he cannot believe it exists." - J. Edgar Hoover
So let's see what someone else knows.
Steven Jones, a BYU physics professor along with others did some testing on metal obtained from the WTC, and just for the record a question...Why did the US Government not do this?
What Professor Jones found was a hallmark discovery. Question two for the record. Why hasn't the MSM reported on this?
If you put on your way back thinking hat you will remember how For six months after Sept. 11, the ground temperature varied between 600 degrees Fahrenheit and 1,500 degrees, sometimes higher. There were large quantities of molten metal observed in basement areas under rubble piles of all three buildings: the Twin Towers and WTC7, Just what caused that to happen? Well if you listen to the government they say jet fuel did it, But if you listen to someone that actually scientifically tested it, another reason is to be found that is factual, That being the presents of Thermate, it contains its own supply of oxygen and so the reaction cannot be smothered, even with water. (And you wondered how something could burn so long)
I dare you...No I Double Dare you to watch this interview with Prof. Steven Jones and then ask yourself is it still just a theory? Or can this be accepted as self-evident?
http://video.google.com/videopla...&
q=Steven+Jones
If the truth is that ugly -- which it is -- then we do have to be careful about the way that we tell the truth. But to say somehow that telling the truth should be avoided because people may respond badly to the truth seems bizarre to me. - Chuck Skoro, Deacon, St. Paul's Catholic Church
