I have watched the previews for the movie, "License to Wed" and I was embarrassed. I am known for my antics and sense of humor but this is not funny.....Robin Williams and the writers, directors, etc., of this film have gone too far.

Williams bashes Catholic priests and Donohue bashes homosexuals. They're both bashers playing to their own audiences at the expense of a lot of innocent people?

Is it not true that devil torments those the most who are the most threatening to his agenda? His agenda: being to take as many souls with him to hell for eternity as he possibly can. Therefore, I conclude that we are all human and all are sinners. Priests have chosen a very trying life. They need our prayers not our vicious jeerings.

As a catholic I do take offense at this kind of onesided portrayal of priests. On the other hand our scandals have called us to be who we say we are. They have helped 'purify' us. Any young man discerning priest hood can't help but be affected by the recent past. He must necessarily look much more closely at what he is embarking on. Older priests who may have less than clear stand on sexual issues must concede that they do not have as much elbow room as they once had. To propagate or have sympathy for positions that are against clearly professed moral positions is no longer acceptable in public spheres when representing the Church.

I am not Catholic, but I have not and will not see the movie, because I think to make a laughing matter out of either of these subjects ie priests or homosexuals, is wrong. We should being praying for both. The priest because they are trying to serve the Lord, and are being attacked by the enemy and the homosexual because they are victims of the enemy. They both need prayer.

Jason....
Why why why do you reprint the sin espoused by Mr. Williams? You prove yourself no better than he with your sensationalist reproductions. Stop it. In the name of the Father, stop it.
