Newt, is right on with this. I have not always agreed with him on issues but this immigration bill is not good for the US.
Gingrich is not telling the truth in this video clip. Atah and the other 911 hijackers entered the US legally, with visas. This is simplly playing the "they're going to kill us" card once more. The only difference is that this time the target of the fallacious attack is illegal immigrants, and not Democrats.
Further, logic dictates that anyone intending to enter the US with the intention of committing a terrorist attack would do so legally, to prevent any chance of being picked up as an illegal before they can do what they intend.
If this bill goes through we will become a one party nation. The 12 million illegal immigrants will turn into 20 to 30 thousand voting 3to1 Democrat. Now thats scary no matter which way you vote.
