Hello, I love God and I try to love people and my neighbors! I don't like the way Father Phfger spoke, but is he telling the truth?
I read many of the previous comments on Rev. Pfleger and Mark's comment on Jackson. As believers we need to wake up and stop falling into the same trap as the world. It's all about what "offends us". Such self-righteous indignation. Vonnie gets the point... were they telling the truth? Do Black men (Rev. Wright) have a reason to be so angry? Do White Christians even care about institutionalized racism.
This whining "didn't Jesus speak love". Yea but He also told off the Pharisees, called them snakes and children of their father the lying devil. Let's be more balanced and mature and stop calling people unloving just because they say things that offend us, we don't understand or don't want to hear (the truth hurts).
I don't think the terms 'foreplay' or 'rough sex' are crude; they are legitmate nouns. They certainly are not PG rated, but I suppose neither is the newstory. It was probably a poor choice, because it was trying to be 'cute' however. Of course that is how writers get our attention.
