The Repubs like free money just like the Dems, they just want us to bail them out. Don't trust either party on this issue.
I don't trust any politician on this or any other issue, but the role of the Dems and the MSM liars in this is inexcusable.
It's not enough to simply say that one is as bad as the other, we need to call the MSM on their bullshit at every opportunity.
Again the Donkeycrats are trying to take from the taxpayers to give to those who refuse to work.

Southerboyusa - the Republicans have a lot of problems. Indeed, they were voted out of the majority in 2006 for corruption and spending public money like drunken Democrats. But that is chicken feed compared to the modern left. They are attempting to, step by step, institute socialism. That is the whole basis for the subprime crisis. They have brought our entire economy to its knees. I have little respect for the Republican Party. I have fear and loathing for the left. Follow the links.
I certainly hope that whatever the bailout amount is, those responsible for it (Democrats, Wall Street, Bad Lenders, Stupid borrowers, big govt. Conservatives) will be punished. If not, what is the point of banging on about capitalism when it's just a different version of socialism. If we are to be free to prosper from the state then we must be free to fall on our faces too.
People who made stupid decisions, borrowing money they cannot pay back need to learn from their mistakes, it's not government who is bailing them out, it's the taxpayer, as in, people who worked for their money and were prudent enough with it to have something left over who will be forced to give it to those who did not.
