Very unusual this pie. I've seen it made with oranges (whole thin slices of orange cooked in syrup almost to the candy stage, and just a layer of oranges over some custard cream). I'm definitely going to try it.

Carolyn - this tart/pie looks amazing! I don't think I've ever seen a lemon tart made in this fashion. My brother is such a huge lemon fan I might just have to "borrow" this recipe and make it for him! Thanks!
