Gravatar When I was a kid my dad used to bring home dried smoked fish, usually smoked herring. We would eat it up like beef jerky. My I loved that fish. Thanks for the memories!


Gravatar One of the things I love most about these awards is that I always find new foodblogs. It's also one of the downsides, of course, since I have no time to be a regular reader, and the knowledge of all these great sites otu there sits in the back of my mind. Sometimes I wake up at night, screaming "DEAR GOD I SHOULD BE READING FOODBLOGS" Then my wife smacks me and I'm okay.

But enough about me, great post and great site.
