Gravatar So good !

Gravatar Your post is a great reminder that nature's beauty has great in store for culinary purposes.

Typical to Indian cuisine edible flowers are dipped in batters made of different types of flours.

{Many people make the use of rice flour, lentil flour and also cornflour. The batter is mixed with condiments and spices before the flower is dipped for deep fry.

Carolyn you can also go for the healthy stir-fry with salt, pepper and garlic into a wokful of chopped flowers..

Gravatar What a good idea, I'm always looking for ways to use the squash and zucchini blossoms.

Gravatar This recipe is very famous in France, but the season is now finished, it's a shame because this flower fritters are delicious ! In july, we do it with zucchinis' flowers (sorry for my bad english...), and it's original, authentic, great !

Gravatar i have an elderberry "tree," but it does not produce fruit. it does, however, produce large flowers in spring. i was told by a tree man that it is an ornamental variety. do you think these flowers be edible for your recipe?

Gravatar I nerver tried these flowers fritters but those who tasted it say it's excellent.

Gravatar As usual, this is another interesting recipe for me.
