On the question - two minor changes in caps:

HE doesn't want to do it as a Democrat. Bush needs him to do it as a Democrat so he can provide political cover over and over and over.
I don't think he'd get the time of day from Bush / Rove if he were a repug or independent.
His only value is as a Democrat.
Thanks for your hard work on this today. It is absolutely shocking that Senator Lieberman won't pledge to support the primary victor. I support Ned through firedoglake's ActBlue page, and I've asked the DSCC not to support Senator Lieberman unless and until he pledges to support the entire Democratic ticket in Connecticut in November.

It's really embarassing to watch the Lieberman supporters resorting to the same kinds of bullying and intimidation tactics that Bush supporters use. Why, you'd almost get the idea that Lieberman is more beloved by them than he is by us. Oh wait a minute, he IS!
