Joe Lieberman's campaign manager accusing Lamont of "voting like a republican?!?" And that's why JoMo won't support him?
It is beyond ridiculous. It appears to be a lame, amateur Rovian attempt to obscure Joe's closet republicanism by trying to pin the same charge on Ned.
Pretty soon, Joe's mascara is going to be running again because he has to drop out of the dem. party to avoid having "his seat" yanked from his trembling hands.
Joe Lieberman, there are consequences for actions.

So let me see if I understand this:
You recruit Ned Lamont, an old money red-diaper baby, primarily because of one issue: the fact that Joe Lieberman wants us to win in Iraq, instead practicing the liberal’s favorite answer to everything, running away.
Because he won't abandon 25 million Iraqis who want a better way of life and the best shot at democracy this region has seen in this millennia and the best it probably will see in the next hundred years, you want that Joe Lieberman brought to his knees.
Even though he has served you honorably and has brought a great degree of respect to the office, you would betray him. You stab him in the back, and then accuse him of jumping ship.
Are you even slightly aware of how insane you are?

Let's see: you're ready to boot the person who the Democratic party nominated as its veep 6 years ago.
Nah, the Democratic party hasn't veered staggeringly far to the left.....

Six years ago may as well have been sixteen, or sixty.
And no, we haven't veered way off to the left. We've just woken up and realized that JoeMentum is really much, much further to the right than we thought he was. We're starting to notice the fact that JoeMentum abandons Democratic principles when it really matters. And we're finally figuring out that the only thing JoeMentum cares about, is JoeMentum keeping his job.
Personally, I prefer Democrats who oppose Bush's failed war in Iraq (and I suspect most Americans would agree with me - just check the polls for the last six or eight months). And I think it's great that Connecticut Democrats can now choose between a candidate who's against the war, and one who will never turn against it. It's too bad, however, that Lieberman's camp thinks this is somehow an affront to Democracy . . .
(PS - "red diaper baby?" What are you, CY, in the third grade or something?)
