I am a registered Democrat and I have never voted for anyone else but a Democrat. I tried to make a decision about who to vote for before the primary. I emailed both the Lieberman and Lamont campaign people with my concern about several issues which neither one was addressing. Lieberman answered me almost immediately. Lamont or his people have yet to answer me or the issues. So far as I can see, the only issue that Lamont will discuss is the war in Iraq, which I aggree with his position, but he has not addressed any other issue, such as our exhorbitant energy prices or jobs and inflation in our state. The only issue he is fixed on is knocking Joe Lieberman. I don't agree with Lieberman on some issues, but at least he has an opinion! I do not like or vote for anyone who runs their campaign solely on negative statements against their opponent. Most people agree with me.
