I hope I'm wrong, but the only explanation of the Clintons' refusal to recognize reality seems to be the 2012 strategy: cripple Obama in 2008, let the disaster of a John W. McBush III administration drive the country even further into the ditch, and send out Hillary four years later to save us all. As I say, I hope I'm wrong.
