Hi Rachael and gang,
Glad to see you're making progress on the road. It reminds me of Jack Keruack's famous journey more than 30 years ago. Somehow it seems the journey is more important than the arrival or destination. Anyway, keep safe and enjoy and theexperiences. Weather herein Irl awful....cold, showery, little sun, and average day time temps between 6 and 10 degrees centigrade. Main problems have been very chilly winds coming down from Arctic between Iceland and Norway. Winds havenow siftd to te east coming frm the Euro Continetnal landmass...just as cold. Today was 10 degrees, for instance. Your Mam and I are going to Cork tomorrow (Mon) to se Noreen and Michael and will call in to Kathleen and Henry on Tues evg. Return to Dn on Weds and D and O caling and staying with us on Thurs and Fri nites. Des has gone to England with Olive to buy a mechanical digger for his land in Creevelough. We will bring the laptop with us and be in contact again in a day or so. Take care of yourself and give our regards to everybody. suerte y adios. Hasta luego. Tu amigo, Tony.

I think lox gets used as cured or smoked salmon, rather than fresh raw tasty fishy stuff. It is lax in (ikea) swedish and lachs in german so I guess lox is a funny anglicisation of that.
