$\"Gravatar\"$ Interesting take. I can't speak as a parent yet (thankfully), but I do know that my sister and I are incredibly different.

As far as the TV thing goes, I doubt it will matter much. My sister and I watched quite a bit growing up, more than we ever read, that's for sure. Sure, I had the Hardy Boys and she had Sweet Valley High but it wasn't until high school or college that either one of us developed any sort of personal library. And we both turned out alright...
