Me too. It's right off the Redbirds' website. It's at least a year old though. In the lower-right hand corner of the pic there is a cleared-out area. There is now an apartment building there. The corner that faces the stadium has balconies that all overlook the park. Pretty cool.

I can't remember if Albuquerque renamed their team after the Simpsons team (which I think is actually in Capital City, Ken) or if it was a reference to all the nuke testing they did out in the desert once upon a time.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen a minor league ball game. We've got the BlueClaws, Thunder, and Patriots all within easy distance here in NJ, I should get off my duff.

IIRC, it was a re-name, in the sense of "Damn, why didn't we come up with that FIRST!"

May I bring the room down a bit by admitting that it totally sets my teeth on edge when someone who is a newsreader does that "I'm so dumb about science, ha ha, but does it really matter after all?" bit.

I have never celebrated such a military appreciation day but I think we should all celebrate it because they are the one who protect us from enemies and if we give our one day to them, it will increase their happiness.
