Gravatar As you know Cullen I am all coffee, all the time; it's my job. So I knows of what you speaks.

I gave up the grinding at home stuff 15+ years ago. It was too much of a pain in the butt. I hated the extra work in the morning, the wasted time and cleaning out the grinder every day. Blech. So don't feel bad. What I did splurge on last year as you'll recall, and I still love, was my coffee maker.

Gravatar I do remember that. I had a cheap $20 pot since my stainless model died. And it was good. But it died recently as well. I picked up a $40 GE model of which I am very fond. One day I'll break down and buy a Bunn.

Gravatar Archer Farms is excellent stuff. They make some really good snacks, and my wife loves the baked brie, which they only sell in the Targets down your neck of the woods. (You should see us buy up when we visit friends in NC and then pack a cooler with deep-frozen Archer Farms brie.)

Gravatar Yeah, we've tried a lot of their snacks, but I've never tried any of their coffee before I was quite happy.

Gravatar I've moderated on the coffee a bit myself lately, since the grinder would wake up the eldest boy in the morning. (Plus, the cleaning got to me too.) So now I save the grinding for the weekend.

Gravatar I still grind premium beans in the morning. I grind it to a fine powder. The grinder came with a little brush that I use to get that which doesn't fall out on its own. That's as clean as I ever get it.
