Let's not forget that Jim Zorn is bringing the West Cost O to DC. Currently only one of the skill players on this offense has played in a West Coast system (Portis). That is a problem. Chad Johnson also has no experience in this type of system and would just add to the coaches challenge of teaching this.

With so many teams running the West Coast O, I think it is easy to forget how hard this type of offense is to learn. Not only is it a different base philosophy to offense, it is a whole different language. This is going to be a big challenge for Jason and the receivers.

Additionally, bringing in Chad would push a difficult cap situation a few more years down the road. It is likely that Zorn is going to take a couple of years to get this offense together and, as such, will be stuck in cap hell just as he is getting it together with the O. A bad situation.

So, in sum, I think it is a great idea! GO DANNY - GO VINNY! Great to see you guys back at it!
