I don't know the mind of Jim Zorn yet, but in the back of my mind I think the Redskins MIGHT keep three RBs with Marcus Mason as the #3 back and returner. I'm not quite predicting that Rock Cartwright gets squeezed out, but wouldn't be at all surprised, or unhappy, if it happened.
The Redskins are more likely to keep six wide receivers than four running backs. Thus, only three backs.
Whole different scenario if Joe Gibbs were still here. Then it would be the Rock all the way.
I gurantee if the Redskins put him on the practice squad, another team will sign him. They better make room for him. Bottom line, he wont be going home, worst case scenario for him is practice squad.
