Yes Chris, it was tongue in cheek. 22 tracked blogs is a lot even if the Mets have 10,000.

You're absolutely right. The Yankees and Mets boast a staggering 46 and 42 blogs apiece. Not only that, but the level of intensity is unmatched (so far) in the Natosphere.

I know that the guy who runs Mets Blog (our 2006 5 questions partner) gets over 10,000 hits per day and blogging the Mets is his full time paid profession. He literally lives off the advertising revenue from his blog. Wow.

That being said, it's really cool that an upstart like the Nats has even half the blogging representation of the New York teams. I bet we'll be right up there with them in a few years.
