I know this comment isn't so post-specific, but are you familiar with the work of Dr Ghil'ad Zuckermann? He has a book out entitled "Language Content and Lexical Enrichment in Hebrew" that I think you would enjoy - even if just for his individual examples of MSN ("multi-sourced neologization"). His website is zuckermann.org: I heard him speak once and found him fascinating.
