Gravatar gee, there are a lot of lynch's out there. are you being new jersey-centric perchance?

Gravatar I generally try to stay as far away from New Jersey as possible... :)

This Lynch is Palestinian...

Gravatar I'm stumped. But do you mind if I share my Kri/Ktiv puzzle with you -- the one with two answers? Here goes:
a) piece of wood
b) group of people

While you're looking for the two Hebrew answers, can you find some English answers that fit as well?

Gravatar i'm stumped as well.
for phil - does גזע work (trunk, race)? there are all kinds of botanical metaphors in genealogy, though (family tree, etc.) in both hebrew and english that there should be lots that fit your description.

Gravatar You guys are really stumped? I thought I gave it away when I said that Lynch is Palestinian.

Could it be ענף?

Gravatar Jessica Lynch was rescued, and 'top' could be a blouse ... is it:
חולצה
?

Gravatar Almost forgot: Jessica Lynch is from Palestine, WV.

Gravatar Great job, Omer!

Now, I knew I gave too much away about Jessica Lynch...

Gravatar phil - how about מגזר

Gravatar For Phil, I'm not sure if one solution is עצה - it is not usually a *group* of people, but can be a counsel.
