I'm stumped. But do you mind if I share my Kri/Ktiv puzzle with you -- the one with two answers? Here goes:

While you're looking for the two Hebrew answers, can you find some English answers that fit as well?

i'm stumped as well.
for phil - does גזע work (trunk, race)? there are all kinds of botanical metaphors in genealogy, though (family tree, etc.) in both hebrew and english that there should be lots that fit your description.
