A few comments on the new template:

1) I would like the right side-bar to be more separasteed from the main blog page. Because they are visually the same, it is a little tricky.

2) The additional material at the bottom of the posts: Posted by, Labels, Comments, Navigation, etc. are too uniform in their styling. It is hard to look at to find anything quickly. The labels and post attribution, for instance, could go at the top; the navigation could be pictures instead of words, or could have borders around it just to stand out as separate...

3) The javascript that the template uses to form the blogger material at the top of the page "browser snifs" incorrectly and so the site displays wrongly in the latest version of Opera web browser (not the browser's fault, the scripter's fault).

Joel - Thanks for the very helpful comments. Although I am a "techie", I don't have very much experience in HTML code. That's one of the reasons I switched to the new Blogger - the ability to drag and drop page elements.

In regard to your points:

1) I don't see a way to do that exactly, but I did add color to the section headers in the sidebar. Hopefully that will make it more distinct.

2) I think that's a really good idea, and I should be able to drag and drop the elements, but for some reason it's still showing the same way. I'll see if there's anything I can do about that.

3) Here I have no idea. I don't have Opera installed, and even if I did, I don't know enough about the HTML code to figure it out.
