Oh honey, I just want to hug you tight and fix you a 7 course mexican dinner.....Your faith and courage show through in your words of up-date and honesty. I kind of thought of G.I. Jane and what that mean old officer did to her with the reason he was in charge of trying to teach her so it would save her life when she was thrown into "action". In my mind I think of your training similar to that. No telling what life will be like for you this coming year. Of course, God will go before you, and be with you every second, but it will be so different you could not go without this time of preparation. It sounds like y'all are in Christian Boot Camp. I love your commitment and excitement and I know this will be a fantastic experience...even if it is difficult and exhausting. You both kind of thrive on that....sorry to hear Mike had some kind of allergic reation....and of course, glad to hear everything is "working" for you Katie dear. My prayer is for a protecting cloud of love and grace to be over you wherever you are and whatever you are doing. I lvoe the verses you find and know and claim.
