Gravatar How exciting. Here's to everyone being shiny, happy people during travel! Love tons! mom.

Gravatar Hey, this is all I have to say....at least there will be 12 people with "deer in the headlights" faces. As compared to the single, all alone in a huge airport of craziness "deer in the headlights" look that this girl will have on her face come September 25th!So, be THANKFUL for safety in numbers and pray that I meet someone on the plane that is either a.) going to Capernwray this year or b.)is a nice old English lady from the countryside, who lives in a thatched roof house. She also happens to look like my Nanny and offers me a "spot" of tea and a hug!!!! I believe in miracles.
So, cheers to happy traveling, carrying luggage from one end of the airport to another, and of course to turnstyles in the UNDRGROUND that you can't fit your luggage thru. Always a good time going out into the world.....once you reach your destination. I love both of you and pray that you grow mighty muscles to haul your luggage with, smarts to figure out a German airport without knowing a lick of German, and when all else fails the ability to look each other in the face and smile because your are on THE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME. Give us a little laugh...come on.
I love you two with all of my HEART!
Steph

Gravatar I cannot believe you are at the end of your time in California.
Michael, I remember when you were breaking the news to me (gently) on the phone that you two would not be living in Flower Mound after graduation. I figured I could go almost anywhere in Texas to see you, East Texas would be nice, you told me it would be a little further than Texas, I thought maybe the Pacific Northwest would be fun to visit, then you said it was a little further than the U.S., North America? At that time you thought it might be China so I guess the good news is that the Czech Republic is a little closer than China.
I am so proud of both of you. You have given us an example of how to walk in faith depending on God for the big things as well as the small.
I wish I could give both of you just one more hug!
Love,
Mom (Sherry)

Gravatar To Mike and Katie (with an envious note to Stephanie--once again making me jealous as she goes off to another great experience).
Deb and I went with the McDaniels to a Ranger game last weekend--had seats in the 17th row behind the Rangers dugout. A very entertaining game, too. Their youth movement makes it fun to pay attention to them.
Anyway, I've already told you that you two are the greatest, and I'm proud of you. Don't forget to relax in the Lord's hands and have fun.
Tim/Dad

Gravatar I am so glad that you guys got to go to DisneyLand and that you enjoyed the rides. It would be interesting to ride Pirates again after seeing the movie.
You are both so amazing and I know you will conquer the German airport because you have lots of prayers, Jesus, and some of that Katie-wisdom. Have a great last few days and bask in the glow of knowing that you are 'living sacrifices' for the service of Jesus Christ. There is no better place than that. Even D-Land.
I love you both and will of course be praying for you.
Love always,
Stacy
p.s. I did finally see my twin on the Real World. Kind of creepy...

Gravatar I almost pity the unsuspecting Czech's on what they're about to get. I mean, you two :S Yikes.

In serious-ness though, I am a bit envious (if that's possible to do in a nonsinful way. Feel free to correct me oh great pastor Tim). Hope you guys enjoy the time you have as well as the coolness of getting to be servants.

don't let the 2 hours of daylight get you too depressed and watch out for any crazy cab drivers

Gravatar Being the mushy one in the family, and the one that gets tears easily, just reading your last notes and looking at the pictures of ya'll in D.land brought my emotions to the surface. I know you are in Gods hands and that He will go before you and protect you. I miss you and love you and talked to Deb about the fact that you may or may not get the boxes that are sent. WE will pray that your warm clothes and blankets do arrive and make it to you. In the meantime, enjoy the newness, the things that make you nervous etc....and thank you so much for the daily (almost) updates. You two are the greatest.....love and many many hugs, Nana
