Does marriage/kids/career "speed up" life? Are you kidding? I was saying "I do," then I blinked and now I've got a kid going to middle school dances. I don't FEEL like I'm pushing 40.

Life does go faster as you age... believe me. Seems like yesterday you were the size of little great-grandbaby Jack. You were so adorable....and because you were my first grandchild you will always be special. I do feel like 64 which I will be in a few weeks, but Bernie says no way will he be 72 in May...Ha....depends on your glasses I guess. Love you much, nana

Hey Katie and Mike,
You've got the quote right. “A man tends to overestimate what he can do in one year…and underestimate what he can do in five.” -- Ted W. Engstrom.
As far as time going faster as you age, yes, that's a common observation. Anonymous quote about the phenomenon (especially regarding parenting): "The days are long, and the years are short."
Love to you both,
Tim/Dad
